Interest in joining the band, experienced or learners from eight years of age depending on size (pipers hands and fingers must be large enough to cover the holes on the chanter) and strength (side drums weigh up to 10kg).

What is the cost for learners is free?
- There is no charge for tuition
- However learner drummers need sticks and learner pipers practice chanters. These cost under $100 dollars (eg see mailto:schoolofpiping@gmail.com ) . The band prefers learners to purchase their own, but may be able to supply this equipment subject a suitable bond.
Level of commitment would be to attend a 45 min lesson weekly every Thursday night and practice a about 20 minutes a day.
The band has members from teenagers to retirees,and welcomes anyone with an interest in Celtic music and support the band.
The band's focus is to teach and pass on traditional music.
